Admission Process
Warm Reminder:
1. If the child is enrolled in urban resident medical insurance or other commercial medical insurance, please bring the discharge summary, disease certificate, and detailed cost list to the 1st floor of the inpatient department for related procedures.
2. For patients who need reimbursement from our hospital but did not successfully connect to the network upon admission, please complete the network connection during your hospitalization. If the medical insurance connection is unsuccessful, please find out the reason and complete the connection procedures within 3 working days at the admission window or nursing station.
3. Patients transferred from outside hospitals must discharge from the previous hospital and settle accounts; simultaneous hospitalization in two hospitals is not allowed, as it will affect reimbursement.
4. After outpatient hours at 5:00 PM, please go to the emergency window to process admission procedures.
Admission Instructions
1. During hospitalization, please adhere to the hospital's rules and schedule with your child.
2. Please follow the arrangements of doctors and nurses, and refrain from visiting other patients to minimize the risk of cross-infection.
3. Pay close attention to the introduction of disease-related knowledge by doctors and nurses, and try to understand the precautions and medication knowledge during the treatment process. Take medications according to medical advice, and feel free to ask doctors or nurses for help if you have any questions or concerns.
4. The ward is a public space; please do not bring valuable items such as laptops, cash, or jewelry into the ward. If you must bring them, please keep them secure to prevent loss.
5. Please take care of your child and do not leave the ward casually. If there is a special circumstance that requires you to go out, you must ask the doctor for a leave certificate and exit slip and present it to your responsible nurse before leaving the ward. Please pay attention to safety outside the hospital during your absence.
6. Regarding wristbands: Please check that the name on the wristband is correct. The wristband is the only identity indicator for your child during hospitalization, and it must be worn on the wrist or ankle as required. If wearing it causes discomfort, please inform your responsible nurse immediately. If damaged or lost, please notify the nurse in a timely manner to obtain a new wristband.

The Pediatric Surgery Department of Jiangxi Children's Hospital was established on October 1, 1958. In the early stages of its establishment, it primarily focused on general pediatric surgery, with the official establishment of General Surgery in 1982. General Surgery is a leading medical discipline in Jiangxi Province, offering outpatient services in general surgery, hernia treatment, and oncology.
The department has extensive experience in precision treatment, minimally invasive treatment, interventional treatment, surgical treatment, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy for solid tumors. It can manage various refractory and complex malignant solid tumors, developing personalized comprehensive treatment plans based on the biological behavior of each child's tumor. Particularly, our surgical techniques for complex malignant tumors such as hepatoblastoma, malignant germ cell tumors, Wilms tumors, retroperitoneal neuroblastoma, retroperitoneal ganglionic neuroblastoma, and rhabdomyosarcoma have matured. Comprehensive treatment for advanced malignant tumors provides possibilities for survival in children, significantly extending their survival periods and improving their quality of life.
